My Passion for Art

I have always been practicing my creativity. My longest interest has been drawing, being influenced by comics, books, movies and cartoons. My next passion was stop-motion films with toys. During high school, I discovered the world of cinema. Since then, I have graduated from a year-long film college program that included volunteer placement. Please find my portfolio of films and drawings in the navigation links.

Good storytelling is complicated and involves many moving parts. Aristotle, an ancient Greek philosopher, described seven unique elements: plot, character, story, dialogue, melody, decoration, and spectacle. Even a simple short campfire ghost story can be an excellent example of how meaning can be "encoded" into these elements to be "decoded" by the audience.

I am a creative, hardworking, passionate and professional agent who is ready to move in any direction, whether to capture a certain shot, write prompt subtitles or to find a good piece of music. I have captured, edited and delivered media for the following festivals: the Canadian Tulip Festival, the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival & the HOPE SummerFest Volleyball Festival.

About Wabis.ca

Some years ago, I was paddling down the Ottawa River in Canada. Along the way, I spied an abandoned tugboat, named Wabis II. Built over sixty years ago, it assisted the logging industry by winching a barge across the river. It was eventually scrapped, most likely in the nineties. Today it is a relic.

Fun fact: reading for just six minutes daily can relieve stress.
